Elton Tankersley New misconduct accusations disrupt Kavanaugh's Supreme Court nomination

https://abc7ny.com/politics/new-misconduct-accusations-disrupt-kavanaugh-nomination/4310454/

The article describes the first and second accusations that Kavanaugh is facing now, and the motivations of the republican party to get him through. This was written in a cultural turning point in the sense that Sexual misconduct in any form is having a light shone upon it. This article was written mostly as an update on the current situation and the authors bias does not affect the accuracy.

My opinion on this is in short that Kavanugh is done, I do not think he will win the nomination regardless of if he is found to be not guilty of the crime. I also doubt that he will be convicted, because there is very little evidence and it happened 30 years ago, but the reason I think he won't win is because of all the character attacks he has been receiving as a result of these accusations, many things that he said in high school are coming back to bite him and in the end I think he will not make it through. The question then becomes, what next? I think that the Republican party will rush to find and pass through another candidate before the senate has a chance to turn over and they lose the majority.
