Sophie Knox- Paul Gosar Viral Video

Gosar represents Arizona’s fourth congressional district as a Republican. Currently he is against David Brill in mid terms. Brill made a video with 6 out of Gosar’s 9 siblings condemning Godar and giving their support to his opponent, Brill. One of his videos discusses health care and the other one is Goser’s Sibling giving their support of Brill. It was unusual that any news would come from Arizona’s fourth since Gosar is Arizona’s 99.9% favorite with estimated 64.5% votes for him. Gosar’s response to this was him basically denouncing his siblings and sucking up to Trump.




This video was straight up cold. I do not agree with how Paul Gosar responds to it- I think it would have been a smarter move to try to be the bigger man in this situation rather than using the term Democrat as an insult. This video most likely won’t affect his campaign, but man for his siblings to know this and still make the video basically giving him the bird means they REALLY disagree with him. Most advertised  compains today are trash (there are some god awful republican ones who basically have a shrine to Trump), but this was purley salty. It will be interesting if more campaigns will make adds like this since a republican also did the same type of ad to a democrat. I can relate this to Hamilton since Hamilton gave his cold opinion about Burr, helping him loose the race. It can also be related to Hamilton because of the Reynolds pamphlet almost ruined his career like this video could do. I feel really badly for the mother; she said that she was shocked, crushed, and had a wonderful family. Unfortunately, this is another case of political issues breaking up families.
