Dallas Officer Fired for Killing Innocent Man In His Own Home- Adriana Chavez

https://www.bbc.com/news/world-us-canada-45632941

Summary:
On September 6, 2018 a police officer had fatally shot an innocent civilian in his own home thinking he was an intruder in her home. The officer was then immediately placed on administrative leave as she faced trials for manslaughter and home invasion. She has now been officially fired as a police officer and is currently out on bail along with a criminal trial.

Analysis:
This article was updated today about 4 hours ago and the event had occurred almost two weeks ago when the police officer had shot the man. This makes it very up to date with any information released on the crime or the trials faced against the officer. The prior knowledge i had about this event was that a police officer had killed a man in his own home in a huge misunderstanding, and i had no knowledge about and information about the trials that were held. I can relate this event to the past shootings this year where the criminal had to be held in court. I can also relate this to the gun reform movements sparking in the United States this year. After all these events that have occurred I feel that civilians are feeling that a change must be done now in order to ensure the safety to all. Although this particular situation could have been handled in a less violent manner, a life was lost all due to the pull of a trigger.

  1. I am outraged by this
The only thing that happened to the officer was that she got fired! She literally killed a innocent man that is murder. Imagine being killed in your own home?
She deserves to be put into jail
