The prior knowledge i had about this event was that a police officer had killed a man in his own home in a huge misunderstanding, and i had no knowledge about and information about the trials that were held. I can relate this event to the past shootings this year where the criminal had to be held in court. I can also relate this to the gun reform movements sparking in the United States this year. After all these events that have occurred I feel that civilians are feeling that a change must be done now in order to ensure the safety to all. Although this particular situation could have been handled in a less violent manner, a life was lost all due to the pull of a trigger.
