Summary:

Linda Brown, the face of the court case Brown v. The board of Education, died at 75 in Topeka, Kansas. She was oneof the most influential people we have had int the history of the US. She is the reason why our schools are no longer segregated.

Analysis:

It amazed me that the court case was so recent in our history. i never really realized that people who lived through segregation are still alive. Linda Brown and her family are some of my role models who have taught me to fight for what is right. This relates to history because in the court case Brown vs. the Board of Education it was declared illegal to segregate public spaces like schools, bus terminals, etc.
