Emily Shaw

change in genes.

When Scott Kelly had blasted off into space for his 340 day mission, his twin brother had stayed on Earth. upon his return, scientists have been comparing the two for about a year now to see how space travel had affected Scott's genes. such information helps prepare scientists and give clues towards the long term effects of space travel upon a human body and how this information impacts the planning on going to mars.

This is interesting to read about and gain more information towards. unfortunately, only less than 7 percent of his genes had been altered so technically he's still human. pretty much of more than 7 percent of your genes are altered then you'd pretty much be considered a different species.
