Hugh's Rocket
For two years, Mike Hughs has been working on a homemade rocket to fly himself into space. this weekend had concluded his project when he had attempted the launch. he didn't really reach space however, only getting about 3 feet in the air before dropping back down, safely, with a parachute. Hughs had been set out to prove that the earth was flat by observing it himself with his rocket. however after the failed attempt and getting a little banged up in the process, he had told a reporter that he was sore, tired, and just wanted to see his cats.
People will go through drastic measures to prove a point. obviously with such an expensive project, he must have gained a significant amount of support to be able to build such rocket. I applaud how he had dealt with the failure of his project.
