Winter is not giving up easily in the eastern area of the United States. Storms with large hail and damaging winds  are harming the south east and about 20 million people are affected by the storms. The bulls eye of the storm is northern Alabama. There has also been very dangerous tornadoes developing in the area.  Many families are in storm shelters and their houses are destroyed. The area most impacted by the storm  is between southern Tennessee in northern Florida. This storm has a very harsh tornadoes, wind, hail, and heavy rain. When the weather in the south clears up, the north eastern states will gear up to face this storm.  New England had a very harsh storm last week and they are just now recovering when another storm hits.

All of the natural disasters that have occurred this year will impact our country‘s history greatly. Many American cities have been destroyed including Houston and Miami just within a couple of days.  This year will go down in history as having the most natural disasters occur within our borders.  Hopefully we don’t have to experience any earthquakes since we are just north of Mexico.

  3. What can be done to prevent this in the future? We need more safety precautions to allow for evacuation.
