Fewer Americans are Working, Don't Blame Immigrants of foodstamps, Washintgton Post-David Bagley

People, in current days, like to point fingers at people for different problems. In this case, jobs dropping, people point to both immigration, or policies set during the Obama administration. However, immigrants play no role in the fall of jobs, the biggest perpetrator actually being Chinese manufactured imports, and robots.

This ties to American history in how, after the civil war, manufacturing and factory-based jobs became dominant, and by having less manufacturing roles needed due to cheap imports or more efficient labor, means a crash in the once most- prominent job
