Gun debate state-of-play
Although here has been a lot of talk about putting stricter gun laws, however no action has been taken. There has been countless meetings regarding the issue at hand but nothing seems to be changing. There are many different proposals that have been made such as arming all the teachers, which not everyone is in favor for. They might feel that this isn't helping the problem it might be just making the issue worse. On Tuesday there will be a closed meeting. After that meeting what they say will determine what will happen next, and the steps that are needed to take.
It is sad to hear that no action has been taken. I understand that not everyone has the same views on this issue, however no one at the age of 18 should get their hands on a gun like the one used in the Florida school shooting. I hope people start stepping forward and making some changes.
