Deadly fire destroys Atlanta boarding house
Earlier today a fire destroyed a boarding house in Atlanta, making the house collapse in on itself leaving six people dead. The victims who died, were four men and two women. The fire department received a call this morning around 5 am. Unfortunately, when the fire rescue crew arrived the fire had already hit the roof and all inside the building, making it not possible for the firefighters to reach some places in the home. All that is mentioned is that there was a space heater in the front of the house and at the back. Five of the killed victims were found in the back of the house, while one was in a front bedroom. The leadings to this tragic fire are still under investigation, but ironically with the six deaths that occurred from this situation, there has now been a total of thirty-nine fire deaths in Georgia this year.
This story is just tragic! So sad how the fire was so bad, that it was impossible for the firefighters to enter. It's very scary that if something little suddenly goes wrong or goes "off it's kilter" it could lead to something so awful and devastating. Hopefully when they discover the cause of this fire, we can all take it in to account by being more aware and help avoid it so it doesn't happen again.
This is awful! I think Georgia needs to get their fires in control so they can save lives.
