The Earth is spinning slower? by Eleanor E-W

New studies show that the earth's rotation is slowing ever so slightly down (like a thousandth of a second a year) and that the slowing down is because of global warming (changing ocean levels, melting glaciers--all that)! It's not really going to affect us that much right now, but it's still crazy to see the affect global warming can have.
I think this is kind of scary actually! It's weird and frightening to think global warming can have that much of an affect on our planet, just like it's weird and frightening to think that civil war and the conflict between north and south still affect us today!

    This leads me to hoping we have another industrial revolution like we did back in the old days in attempt to find solution to stop this occurrence. Otherwise all of those disaster movies like San Andreas, 2012, and Deep Impact could actually become reality.

    Thats crazy! Humans impact on the Earth is so great we are actually slowing down its rotation! This is scientific proof we NEED to stop destroying our planet.
