Protesting the NRA: Every month, for three years - Lia Kerkman 6

Martina Leinz has been to over two dozen NRA ( national riffle association). She says that her experience in high school with a fellow student bringing a riffle to school and harming several people really opened her eyes to the danger of gun rights. Some have been at protests every month for the past year, ever since Sandy Hook. She now, along with many others fights for the idea that the  association should work further towards their original idea that they protect the right to bare arms while still ensuring that their weapons are in safe sane hands.

It seems like every other story you hear now is all about gun control. At this point I think that all of these people aren't making the big difference that theyre looking for despite their relentless efforts. You can try to prevent unqualified people from getting guns all you want but when it comes to it anybody has the right for self protection in the form of a legal gun. And even if you found some way to make that restriction theres no doubt in my mind that anyone has the capability to get their hands on one.
