Do voters have to right to candidates medical records? Alora Lieck

link

This is a very interesting article as it is already connected to US history! It shows the known medical information from a handful of ex-presidents and many would-be candidates. Trump recently allowed a pinch of his personal records to be released stating he has good blood pressure, as well as taking aspirin daily. Now thats not really anything alone to keep him from running. BUT there are a handful of presidents' records who should have been put to the public... John Adams was later known to be bipolar, Lincoln was know to be depressed, and grant would have been a diagnosed alcoholic with social anxiety. The question though is: should this info be public to voters? I believe in cases of potential fatal illness or mental issues it should be released. That way if that president is supposed to die within a year they would be exempt.

  1. Bernadette NEgrete- i would hope that the presidents would release this information just for the voters to know what they will be agreeing with their presidency.
