Highest temperatures since 1899! by Kennedy Park

The U.S. is having one of the warmest temperatures in December history. This week of last year Buffalo NewYork already had a foot of snow on the ground! Why this warm winter? El Niño brought warm air from the Pacific Ocean to the East of the United States. Many people will be wearing shorts to do their Christmas shopping this year!

I thought we were going to have a white Christmas! These record breaking temperatures relate back to the year of 1899 when Buffalo New York had only gotton .1 inches of snow by this time. Guess that's a broken record for this year. This topic is very important because it shows that green house gases are rising and are the cause for rising temperatures.
