President Obama has assured the country that everyone should feel safe in their own country. He has said that the US is free any credible and/or specific threats. Obama insists that anyone targeting Americans will have no where to hide. Usually President Obama receives briefing in the White House Situation Room but this year, with recent terror attacks, he decided to go public to show the nation preparedness.
Analysis: This was a very smart move on Obama's part. As President it is his job to make sure we are all safe and make sure that we feel safe as well. This was a great way to ease the minds of everyone in the nation, because as recent attacks have taken place, people are starting to feel less and less safe.
