Cosby sues 7 accusers back // Uriel Cruz, Period 6

Warning // This rant/current events blog contains sensitive material. Don't hate me.
Cue the jazz and "Ooo, Lord"s, because Cosby's back. Cosby has had it with the accusations and is countering 7 claims of sexual assault. Cosby is countersuing for all the "malicious, opportunistic, and false and defamatory accusations" he's been degraded for.
A compilation of interviews with some women who claim to have been raped by Cosby was available on the CNN website so I checked it out, and boy oh boy was it something else. I watched through all of the video and I had a smug look on my face by the end. These women paused, stuttered, and looked around as if they were making up their claims during the interview. Sure, it's been a long time so their memories are blurred, but if they want to accuse Bill of anything like that, they need to know their story. It felt like watching rejected auditions for a crime fighter show.
America's recent history tells the tale of women rising up against the man and fighting for equality. Here, along with many others, is an example of going over the line. Women are very close to being, if not already, the alpha in society. Here's the thing though, this was started for equality. Women have dominated the men and it has many pros, but many cons. Accusing any man of raping you may be the easiest thing to get away with, especially now. If anyone testifies against a supposedly violated woman, they're declared misogynistic. As simple as that. These women are exploiting the feminist movement and making it something evil and unjust. Don't believe me? Go to any page on Instagram that has the courage to post edgy memes. I'm extremely confident that you'll find a joke about women like that in between the suicide and terrorist jokes. These types of women are internet memes. They've become a joke. They're discrediting the feminist movement they claim to be a part of and it's not fair to the men who are harassed and the women who are truly fighting for equality. Bill is doing the right thing in my opinion and I support him.

  1. Sexual assault cases are always such a touchy subject. Because of the lack of respect women get, it seems like it's just making it ten times harder for them to really get to say anything that gets taken seriously. Bella di Fazio pd:8
