Obama has recently been a a world leaders conference in Turkey discussing things like the paris attacks and syrian refugees. How do we deal with these things? Republicans recently released a statement saying we should conduct background checks, and possibly only admit christian Syrians.
Is this what America was built upon? No. Should we refrain from helping people who our suffering, out of fear for our own safety? We are not one to decide which Syrian is "safer" to admit than another. While we should take precaution, and be wary of who we let into our country, we should extend our safety and prosperity to the ones in need.
