Burglar stuck in chimney dies after homeowner lights fire - Paisley Norburg 5th Period

Burglar stuck in chimney dies after homeowner lights fire (Paisley Norburg 5th Period)

After a burglar tried breaking into a house through the chimney, the whole plan resulted in a death. On Saturday around 3 pm, the man in the chimney was found, because the homeowner came home to light a fire. Not thinking there would be someone in the chimney, he heard a scream coming from the chimney. The owner of the house tried to quickly put out the fire, resulting his own home to smoke up. The firefighters quickly responded to this situation and destroyed the chimney, in order to get the burglar out. Only to find out when they reached the burglar he was dead. The coroner's offices took the body from the scene and are going to investigate and find out the mans identity and the actual cause of the death.

It's the modern day Grinch. Someone trying to get into a home through a chimney expecting to steal anothers belongings and cherished items that is/are not his own. It's sad that this resulted in a death, but the man did it to himself. If the man would've never broken into this home, he would most likely be alive. It is not the homeowners fault at all! He just came home, wanting to burn a fire and relax and unfortunately there was an intruder in his chimney.

  1. Ouch, sometimes revenge takes time to get to a person, this one came immediately and very severe.(Alejandra Hernandez 6th period)

First of all, the chimney really? Come on, this isn't the three little pigs. I also don't see how there would be any way for the homeowner to be charged. The homeowner even tried to save the man's life. I don't know where this was but if it was in Texas I know that a homeowner can kill anybody on their private property and claim that the person was a threat to their life.
