Joseph Caputo, from Connecticut, was arrested on Thanksgiving for attempting to go into the White House. He jumped the fence while the First Family was having dinner in the White House. Joseph Caputo was seen wearing an American Flag around in back and shoulders along with holding a manila folder. After Caputo jumped the fence he ran on the premises and was hunted by dog and the security team. Caputo was the first person to jump the White House Fence since the new spikes were installed. The motives of this attack are unknown and also what is inside the manila folder is not know yet also. This story is developing.

There have been many people this year that have attempted to the enter the White House by climbing the fence and all have been unsuccessful. It's unfortunate that this has happened but fortunately they have all been caught and arrested protecting the First Family.

  1. I'm glad they caught this man before he had the potential to harm anybody. They can plan for further holidays now that they know that the first family can be targets when they're all together.

  2. That seems really sketchy, what would make someone jump over the fence of the White House? -Mattie Whisler 9th period Flex

  3. That's interesting, I wonder what the man was trying to do. I agree, it's good that they caught him because he could be dangerous. I wish no one would disturb a family while they are eating their Thanksgiving meal, but I also find it sad that the presidential security can't eat with their families until they get off of work.

  4. I wonder if they will release what was in the envelope. Nonetheless, hopefully his motivations weren't malicious.
