France remembers Paris terror victims

Majority of us are aware of the tragic events that occurred in Paris, the innocent lives that have been taken and family's that have been destroyed.  President Francois Hollande speaks upon the 130 people massacred two weeks ago in Paris by whom officials believe were done by Isis. The United States whom are allies with France are hearing about theses terrorist  showed support and love for Paris through social media. But the biggest question is Why? Why would Terrorist kill innocent people... is it to prove a point?  President Hollande believes that ""They were France. They were shot dead because they were freedom," Hollande said of the victims. In the name of the nation, he extended "our compassion, our affection toward the families, the nearest and dearest ... parents who no longer see their children. The children who will grow up without their parents''

The United States knows all too well on how Parisians must feel right now. It's so important to remember events like these, I believe that looking back on them makes us stronger and less likely to break.

  2. This event is terrible but unfortunately we can relate to it. By being able to relate, we should, as a country, help support those in need.

  3. Matthew Homsher 9th- The lives lost can never be replaced. The most we can do is to prevent further tragedies and bring justice to those who took those lives. The United States should act in some way to expedite that process because we understand what it's like to deal with an unprovoked terrorist assault.
