Meet the 15-year-old kid who's suing Obama over climate change - Lia Kerkman 6

Ever since he was six years old Xiuhtezcatl Tonatiuh decided he would become a climate changing activist. He has now joined a group of young activists in pursuit of suing the Obama administration for not properly ditching fossil fuels. Obama arrives at the summit starting off with admitting that he is aware of whats going on and how big of an impact the u.s. has. He ends with claiming that he will work harder towards better efforts in properly ditching fossil fuels.
Obviously you cannot deny that global warming is happening and has the potential to be a huge issue in the future. I applaud Obama for admitting to all the problems actually going on. I guess its good that all of these people are standing up for a good cause and at such a young age too. Weather he is telling the truth will show in the future if he takes any further actions.

  1. I hope the case gets enough attention so that people will have to take action about preventing climate change rather than just talking about it. (Bella Di Fazio pd:8)

Climate change is a problem, but I can't see what the president can do to fix that. I don't think this has anything to do with the executive branch, but more the Legislative branch as they are the people that make laws. Then the president must approve them but they have to exist first.
