A man is accused of threatening a Phoenix mosque the day after the New Zealand attack -Alma Alvarado-Cabrera

A man in Phoenix by the name of Noel Thomas Becht has been arrested after police said they saw him wandering into rooms in a Mosque without permission and when questioned by a mosque leader, Noel made a slashing motion across his throat . This occurred one day after the New Zealand shooting which killed at least 50 people. The leader later told police that he felt as though Becht was signaling he "wanted to behead him". Police then decided to take Becht into custody He's scheduled to appear in court next Monday.

This article was written by Ryan Prior  and published by CNN news on Tuesday March 19. This article has a pretty intense topic about how a man supposedly is threatening a Phoenix mosque after doing a bad gesture . There wasn't much information about Becht's weird behavior but after his trial we would know if police taking him to custody was the right choice. This article was written to inform anyone about the New Zealand massacre and the aftermath of it.

  1. This is so scary. If I were the Mosque leader, I probably would've evacuated those in the Mosque out of fear of some sort of attack. I mean, a gesture like that could be suggestive of a lot of actions, none of which are positive.
