Summary~
Multiple Houston police officers were shot Monday while serving a search warrant. About a dozen narcotics officers had responded to a residenc where police suspect drugs were being sold. They breached the front door, then the gunfire started.

I just heard about this story and I hope the fire police officers that were struck by gunfire are ok. Two of the the officers are in critical condition and I hope they recover.

It’s honestly so shocking to keep hearing about these, frankly awful shootings in such a developed nation such as ourself. It highlights how truly damning the issue of drugs in this country is, with people literally willing to kill others for an hour of high. I wonder what prior event this could be connected to.
ReplyDeleteI think it's more about the money for people than the high. Similar to how most gun laws aren't changing because big corporations just want to keep making money off of their guns. Money is the main source of most issues in the US.
