Brittney Delpey: Police Took Man's Money

This article was written by Daniel Jennings who works for Off the Grid News. It was written on December 12th, 2016 regarding an ongoing case with the Kansas State Patrol. This is written for all American Citizens to let them know about an event where the law didn't respect their rights.

A man, Franco, on his way back from visiting his cousin was with his girlfriend on their way home. While they were out in Nevada they had planned to stop and buy a truck. The organization they were buying from only allowed cash for out of state buyers. So Franco brought $32,100 to buy his new truck. He then decided to hold off on it and continue his way back to Kansas home. On their way to St. Louis, Franco and his girlfriend were stopped by the police for only having a back license plate. This irritated them because Kansas only required one license plate. The cops then illegally searched their car without a warrant and even had a drug dog sniff around. The dogs then found the money located in his car. The cops then questioned Franco as he told him about his purchase. The cops then seized the money because they found pictures of weed on Franco's girlfriends phone. The DKT Liberty Project is alleging for Franco and his girlfriend. The two were not charged but they also were not given their money back.

I had no prior knowledge to this incident but I think it's absurd they seized that much money for little to know proof as to why. This goes against the 4th amendment for illegal search and seizure.
