Summary: In this article, several unidentified Ku Klux Klan members attempted to defend their
"organization", one man claiming "We're not white supremacists. We believe in our race." They have said that Donald Trump's victory is proof that whites are "taking back America from blacks, immigrants, and Jews." Their "official rule book", which is over 100 years old. the Kloran, says the the Klan "shall ever be true in the faithful maintenance of White Supremacy." And still they claim that they aren't white supremacists. Klan members all over the country have been hosting parades in "celebration" of Trump's win.
Analysis/Synthesis: This just feels stupid to me. I don't understand how you can argue an invalid point. Like, you guys (the group, not the individuals) used to go around killing people?? Beating them and hanging them from trees?? Just because of their skin color?? Why would you even need to "believe in your race" when white people have faced absolutely no oppression just because of their skin. And how are they "taking America back"??? From who??? The immigrants struggle each day just trying to put food on the table because they can't get a decent job? The African Americans who have lived in constant fear of being murdered for their skin color since before you could spell supremacist?? The Jews, who already faced mass genocide from another racist dick.....tator. "We believe in our race" Yeah well I believe in all the OTHER races that ACTUALLY NEED to fight for themselves. Assholes. This can be connected (I think) to when the Nazis rose up in support of Hitler when he gained control of Germany.
