Emma Lochabay- Coca-Coloa CEO Steping Down

Coca-Cola's president and chief operating officer, James Quincy, will become the CEO on May, 1st, taking the place of Muhtar Kent. Quincy has worked more than 20 years for the company and will be resuming the responsibility for one of the most recognized brands in the world. Kent will be stepping down to the position of chairman. According to regulatory filings last year, Kent was paid $14.6 million and Quincey was paid about $6.8 million. This change will hopefully allow the brand to move ahead of its rival company, Pepsi.

  2. This is very cool! I am interested to see what changes will occur once Quincy steps in! I feel as though Coco-Cola will begin to experience a new side to their large cooperation, and it might take on fresh new look at one of America's favorite soda companies.
