From 'Kuledud3' to 'Breezy' // Uriel Cruz, Period 6

A few years back, c. 2012, I used to watch someone named Garrick who went by 'Kuledud3' on YouTube. I had stopped watching him, and other YouTube personalities, after my teachers decided to bombard me with homework. They still do this, except now I can stay up until I finish my work so I have time to watch videos and do homework. Since this time slot has opened up once again, I can now resume my regularly scheduled programming, but things aren't the same anymore. Kuledud3 has a wider variety of content which is cool, but his username is Breezy. Does he just not want to be noticed? This didn't catch my attention, but after watching more of his recent posts, things were really different. They're rarely called Garrick and use Breezy way more often than Kuledud3. "Is Garrick transitioning into a new alias, or...?" is a question I'd ask myself. He played a never have I ever game where the person says "Never have I ever 'fill in the blank'" and moves forward. If this applies to any other player, they can move up as well. In one of the rounds, one of the players says "never have I ever sucked a c**k." and he was the only one to move forward. I didn't catch this, but the comments section seemed to, and it caused an uproar. Kuledud3/Garrick/Breezy made a follow up video explaining that they had a boyfriend and had a lot of oddly shaped items in their mouth.
They made the follow up video because they aren't afraid of what people think. Kuledud3 isn't just transitioning from alias to alias, they're transitioning from gender to gender. They go by Breezy and have a gofundme campaign to raise money for an Adam's apple removal. This is a lot to take in after not being a continuous viewer for maybe 3 years now, but I support it I guess. You do you, bud. I usually stay neutral in these situations, so don't get angry at me.

Unlike many transgender people, Breezy is being supported and in virtually sheltered by the commenters and fans. Many transgender people are being discriminated against and it just isn't fair. They don't just wake up one day and decide they want to be the opposite gender or just neutral. None of this is asked for and just transitioning can be hard enough for them to handle. All of this shaming in the world, not just America, needs to stop immediately. What's worse is that it's not just one type of transition that is shamed. Transitions from sexual orientations are also ridiculed and those who transition are harassed and hurt severely. Many of these voices are left unheard due to the ignorance of the larger crowd. Although some countries, including the US, have made same-sex marriage legal, we still have gay couples getting arrested for kissing in public and whatnot. It's time to stand up. It's time for change.

  1. i agree that people need to be more open minded about situations like these and not be ignorant either. just treat them as a person not by their gender
