Woman executed after failed appeals -Carli Copell

Georgia inmate Kelly Gissendaner executed after failed appeals

-This article is about an inmate from Georgia, named Kelly Gissendaner. Kelly was executed for killing her husband. Kelly was set to be executed Tuesday but her lawyers filed appeals to try and spare her life. In the end they were failed and rejected resting in Kelly's death.

Analysis: Either way, whether she was sentenced to life in prison or death row. she would be in there forever. I think that if a person is in this situation they should be able to choose because I mean some people rather die than live their whole life in prison. But that's just my opinion. I feel as if there was really  no use for her lawyers to file appeals, she killed her husband... she's going to have to face the consequences. This relates back to the early American days where murders, criminals, anyone who broke the law would be hung.
