Water on mars? By: Emma Wall

http://www.cnn.com/2015/09/28/us/mars-nasa-announcement/index.html

This article expresses that there has been a spotting of water on mars.  This has sparked many questions.  The main question that has come up, is there possibility for life on mars?  There are so many people interested in this new fascination.  It is a huge deal even though the water is not even close to being drinkable.  It is murky and nasty but it is still water!  Scientists are staying optimistic about their new finding.

I honestly think that it is awesome that there is water on mars but I don't think it is as important as everyone thinks it is.  It is not accessible water.  I don't think that all of the money we are spending on space exploration is quite worth it.  It is acceptable to a certain extent, but there are much greater needs for this money.  I can't even imagine living on mars.  I don't think there is even a big possibility that life could exist on mars.  Hypothetically, if people could live on mars, our economy would drop.  We will have to pay bundles of money towards getting people to mars and also to support them until they are stable.  It would cause mass chaos.  I just think that America needs to focus on what is happening on the planet we live because we aren't in too good of shape as a society.

  1. This is so cool! I really hope they investigate and see if they can find anything that could change life as we know it!
