new tech allows scientists to study marine life with just the water they've swam in by Sam Stromness

New technology has revolutionized marine sciences by allowing organisms to be studied by looking at just the water they have swam in. The tech picks up DNA particles that were left behind as the animal swam through that area. Scientists can study the DNA particle and collect information about a region or species without having to ever actually see the animal they are collecting data on. However, this technology has one flaw as it can also pick up on DNA particles of prey that were actually eaten miles away.

This article is a reflection of the massive advancements being made by our society. This technology offers new incite into marine life that we have never had before.

Very interesting, I think it is amazing to see how far technology has come today, and to think of how much more advances in technology will develop in the future.
