Robbery and Carjacking

Man Robbing and Carjacking

Friday morning Arlington police got multiple calls pertaining to Dylan Perry.  The 38 year old suspect already had a criminal history before Friday morning's incident.  His records show he has fled from police and has been convicted of deadly conduct.  Friday morning Perry robbed a bank in Mansfield around 10 A.M., then about 20 minutes later another bank in Arlington.  Police then received another call around 11 A.M. about a car being stole from a BMW dealership close to the Bank of America in Arlington.  Once the police started following the stolen car, Perry began to slow down and shoot.  The police then returned the fire believing to hit Perry at one point and cause him to crash into a pickup truck.  The truck held three passengers which were sent straight to the hospital.  One member from the truck was released yesterday, as the other two are still hospitalized.  Perry is said to be in serious condition.
Why do people think they can rob a place and get a way with it?  You will always get caught, it might not be right when the crime happens, but the police will find you eventually.  This one person put three other people and the police officers in danger because of his stupid decision.  I think that whenever you see a police officer, you should always say thank you because they choose to go out everyday and protect our cities.  They keep it safe from all these idiots making bad decisions.  So next time you see a police officer at the store or anywhere, take a minute to just say thank you for their service.

  2. True that. Most people dont think about how much security there is here either. Almost everywhere you go you are being watched by a security camera. And we should appreciate our protection services more. -Lia K. 6
