After reports of finding the Listeria bacteria in some of their products, Bluebell recalled all their ice cream in order to ensure safety. There have been a report of 5 cases of Bluebell caused Listeria in Kansas and 3 in Texas. The bacteria is extremely harmful to children, the elderly and people with weak immune systems. Symptoms include stomach pains, diharrea, nausea, high fevers and severe headaches.
I hope Bluebell gets this sorted out. Summer is right around the corner and they are my favorite store bought ice cream. I am glad they have entirely removed all their products in order to ensure their customers' health.

BLUE BELL IS MY FAVORITE ICE CREAM!! Hopefully no one is hurt. Though, an example of something similar would be the almost break out of anthrax in the US because of the letters someone attempted to mail the President.
ReplyDeleteI really hope Blue Bell is able to recover from such a massive recall. If the company were to go out of business that would effect many people who work for the company.
