Doctor injured, suspect dead in hospital shooting- Myles Bennett

Tuesday morning, a man walked into a hospital and asked for a certain doctor (his name was not released). Minutes later, colleagues rushed him into the emergency room because of serious, possibly fatal, gunshot wounds. The alleged suspect was found later dead from self-inflicted gunshot wounds. The motive for the attack is not known and police are still investigating.

Analysis: This could be related to the second amendment and the debate over gun control. I agree that the right to bear arms is a right that cannot and should not be taken away from us, but I think it should be regulated more strictly. At the time the constitution was written, we needed the ability to carry arms because we were a new nation and we needed to defend ourselves against attacks. Now that we have an established system of defense, we can regulate the purchase and possession of guns and other weapons a little more.

  1. My current event was over guns as well! Goes to show that this "gun control" is really getting out of control.

  3. This is unsettling. Hospitals are supposed to be for healing, but when situations like this occur, it makes a person wonder just how safe hospitals are. I'm curious how this person concealed the gun. I mean how did no one catch that?
