Device found on White House ground Kalena Rodriguez p5

Early Monday morning, a White House official found a device on the White House which is now identified as a drone.  It has been said that Secret Service is waiting until daylight to clear it away. Press Secretary Josh Earnest has cleared up the situation stating the device has not been proven as a threat and the president along with his First Lady are in India.

Threats to the White House are taken tremendously serious. The building holds important officials and the most important, the president. Our government has organized and developed a system of powerful forces created within these walls and know the proper ways to handle such situations like this one, as they have faced more intense in the past.

    Its better safe than sorry. I believe that they handled the situation well. They clearly stated the situation and didn't try to blow it out of proportion. It is astounding that a drone can get into such a highly secure area so easily.

    If it is a true drone, I hope that they will be able to find where it is from and what may have sent it. Possibly, it could have been a mistake for a children's toy per say.
