Biden Spotlights Race by Megan Darlington

Biden gave a speech today about the relationship between the police and the people. He said, "the fear that your child may be presumed to be a gang member or a suspect or that someone in authority is looking at that child and seeing only a profile and not an individual." But he also defended that police deserve to go home to their families too and are honorable people. He also notes that minorities shouldn't be treated any different by cops, even though that has happened in the past.
I think this was a good speech, especially with all the negatives police have been getting. After ferguson and event where police have gotten the awful side of press, Biden lays out whats right and wring about of police and has valid points on how they are doing their job, but that some men may be discriminating among certain kinds of people.http://www.cnn.com/2015/01/19/politics/biden-mlk-speech/index.html
