In Billings, Montana a mother
was just feet away from the man who pleaded guilty to raping her
14-year-old daughter. The rapist, Stacey Dean, initially
received a sentence that required him to serve just 31 days in prison.The
55-year-old teacher, Rambold, pleaded guilty to raping a student in his
business class in 2007 at Billings Senior High. The victim committed
suicide in 2010, before the case went to trial and before she reached her 17th
birthday. 7 years later justice is finally being served and
he received 10 years in prison.

That's insane that he only got sentenced to 31 days and not 10 years right away. -Avery Alexander
ReplyDeleteI don't know why the fact its in Montana insinuates why the original sentence was only 31 days. The whole story makes me sad.
