15 people, mostly teens, shot at Miami club

Link: http://www.cnn.com/2014/09/28/us/miami-florida-teen-nightclub-shooting/

Early last Sunday morning at a Miami Night Club, fifteen people were shot according to when the Miami-Dade police reported. The ages ranged from 11-25 from the people that were shot. There is still no information as to if the club was open to teenagers or not, yet teenagers and youth were in the club after midnight which was the Miami-Dade county curfew. The investigators aren't sure if there was a certain motive for the shooting and if there were multiple shooters or not. Many interviews for witnessed are in occurrence and the public in the county is awaiting for further information.

This story is so horrible especially considering a handful of people died. And not just any people but young people. I'm not even sure if the teenagers and the youth were allowed in this club, but they were still young and didn't deserve to die. It would have been helpful to know who shot them and why kids were in the club to begin with because that would help the public determine the circumstance better. I do know that clubs can not be a very safe place as far as teenagers and partying, but I think any shooting at a club or a gathering of the youth is horrible and should not be permitted.

  1. Wow. That is very sad. I don't understand why 11 year olds would be at the the club with 25 year olds. That is a pretty big age difference.

  2. Should've stayed home. They probably weren't even supposed to be there and had to explain to their parents how and why they got shot.
The parents are probably overjoyed that they're safe but are also probably ready to beat them into another family for being somewhere they had no business being.

  3. so many people were killed, and personally i must disagree with your comment of how it should be more important because it was young people who were killed, disregard the ages... a person's life is important no matter how old you are. Sharon Cordon 4th period.
