Last Saturday night, the bodies of 5 family members were discovered by one of their relatives. They've been identified as father Benjamin Strack, 37; mother Kristi Strack, 36; son Benson Strack,14; daughter Emery Strack, 12; and son Zion Strack, 11. The relative that found them was in fact a son of the deceased couple. The cause of death is unknown. Autopsies ruled out any kind of violent assault. Firefighters tested the air for carbon dioxide, but did not find any sign of it. This, however, does not rule out carbon dioxide due to the wind from a storm that could've cleared out the gas. The peculiar thing about this case is that the family had three pets that were there, and the pets were perfectly fine.

Before reading this article, I had heard about tragic events regarding carbon dioxide poisoning. This case is a bit peculiar though, seeing as there is so much mystery surrounding it. I hope they find out what happened to this poor family, and that their surviving son is taken care of.
