Colorado has come up with a new curriculum that only teaches students certain parts of history, leaving out civil disobedience in the mixture of the historic events. Many students have been protesting to this new curriculum. Only positive events of history are now being taught, and this really irritated the students. They believe that everything, positive or negative, should be taught because it's history and they should learn what really happened.
The students feel so strongly about this that they will not let it slip away. If they aren't taught it, they're going out of their way to teach themselves. Hundreds of students are flooding with signs to protest.
