Haley Bogdon - Miley Cyrus & Neil Young Lose Houses In California Wildfires

This article is about Miley Cyrus and Neil Young being among the many people whose homes were destroyed by the wildfires in California.  Miley Cyrus was quoted saying that she was very lucky because her significant other and her animals were able to get out safely, but that her house is not standing.  She also thanked the firefighters and Sheriff's department for convincing people to leave the area before the fires got to them.  Neil Young also was quoted saying that he was upset that President Trump was trying to place blame on the forest managers.  He stated that the climate change is what is making the weather cause droughts and then this results in these types of fires.  I think that in this article, the author wanted to convey his opinion that the fires are a result of climate changing, which the President will not admit is an issue.  The celebrities stories also were meant to support this opinion of the great work of the forest management and fire fighters and to support that there is nothing more they could have done to prevent this disaster.  Even though they lost their homes, they are still supportive of those managing the forests and fighting the fires.  I think this article does make people think about whether the droughts that have occurred and other extreme weather events are things that could be prevented by taking better care of our environment.
