The Northern California wildfire is fully contained as of today after two weeks. Beginning on November 8, the fire ravaged sierra nevada, Malibu, and other areas, forcing over 250,000 people to evacuate their homes. This is very similar to the Anaheim Hills fire two years ago, forcing thousands of people to evacuate their homes and schools. I, in fact, lived near this fire, and while I didn't need to evacuate, over a quarter of the people that went to my school had to evacuate their homes, the sky was half black with smoke, as well as a layer of ash of ash sat on the cars in the morning. This affects the environment, and public health and steps need to be taken to ensure the safety of the public.
