"Strawberry needles scare strikes again in New Zealand "

There has been another scare with needles in strawberry, in New Zealand. It is the second time this has happened in the country, and weeks ago there was an epidemic of needles in fruits in Australia. The police still do not know where and when the needles got involved. Awhile back, a woman was accused of putting needles in strawberries in Australia. The incidents have scared people and hurt the Australian fruit industry.
To me, this sounds really scary. I would be totally freaked out if i took a bite out a strawberry (or any fruit for that matter) and was stuck by a needle. I hope the officials soon isolate the problem and fix it. This reminded me of the random bombings that were happening to politicians a couple of months back. Both of the incidents were random and the source was unclear and harmful.
I love the connection and I agree that i also wouldn't want to randomly bite into a needle and i feel the events that happens shouldn't happened so randomly.
ReplyDeleteWe should atleast try to find a way to identify the strawberries with needles during each part of the shipping process.
ReplyDeleteIt is frightening to see the almost creative ways used to sabotage and harm others. I wonder the motives behind these reoccurring and random incidents.
ReplyDeleteI actually remember reading a blog post about this when the first needle was found in a strawberry. Hopefully we will be able to find a way to fix this problem sooon because i would poop my pants if i bit into a needle while i was looking forward to nibblin on a juicy strawberry.
ReplyDeleteWOW! Who would ever come up with something like this? I hope they get to the bottom of this is people can just go back to enjoying their fruit.
