NYC subway bomber found guilty of 6 counts, including perpetrating a terrorist attack -Karsyn Kelly
Jury trial accused Akayed Ullah for being guilty of last year's attack that happened in an underground walkway of the New York subway system. There was in fact footage of the tunnel that showed Ullah detonate a bomb on his person during on December 11th, 2017 during morning rush hour. This tunnel connects two subway lines underneath the Port Authority Bus Terminal in Manhattan. A total of six people were injured. Ullah injured his hands and stomach. Footage shows police responding to the scene as Ullah lay on his back in the tunnel. The bomb Ullah used was composed of a battery, metal screws, wires, and a Christmas tree light bulb. Ullah was convicted on six different counts.
I have been reading a lot of events like this recently. It is very scary that some people are okay with doing these types of actions. As a whole we need to make our generation realize that these things are terribly wrong so that we can make a brighter future for everyone.
