A group of west Virginians were rescued after being trapped in a mine for days. Three people were taken out of the mine and taken to the hospital for immediate aid. Although their reasoning for being in the mine is still being investigated they haven't been charged with anything. the mine is unused and sealed so they had no food and had to drink from a stream within the mine. This was the second case reported of people being in a mine and they may soon be charged because no one was supposed to be in there.
Although this is no where near the same situation this reminds me of when construction workers got stuck within a pot hole I think it was. They were unable to get out of it for a few days because they had gotten stuck. it was a big deal everywhere and they were only to get a certain amount of food and water.
