An incident at an Indiana airport left two firefighters dead and five more injured. The crash occurred when two planes collided on the runway strip, causing engine leakage and failure and ultimately resulting in the combustion of the plane itself. Both of the victims were inside of the plane at the time.
I can draw a synthesis to this event and the early twentieth century, when, due to a small amount of skilled aerial pilots, plane crashes (along with increased casualties) was much more common. Luckily, however, there were a small amount of people aboard this particular flight, and therefore, had a minuscule effect on the scale of casualties.
