Former US President George H.W. Bush was admitted to hospital yesterday morning after contracting an infection that spread to his blood, just days after the death of his wife, Barbara Bush. President Bush was admitted to hospital suffering from an infection that led to sepsis, according to a source close to the family. His blood pressure continued to drop and there was serious concern about whether the former President would pull through, but he has now been stabilized. A source added that due to President Bush’s age and health, such an infection can be very serious. He is responding to treatments.
This is very upsetting to hear since Barbara Bush died so recently. It is also a coincidence how this happened at the time we were learning about this former President. It is always interesting to hear information like this because it’s very easy to forget that presidents are humans too.
My personal theory is that maybe he is dying of a broken heart. Barbra and George have been together for so long and now that she has left he is facing brutal loneliness and it is eating him alive. Maybe its best that he goes to heaven to be with his one true love.
ReplyDeleteThis is so sad. I agree that it is very easy to forget that presidents are humans too.
ReplyDeleteThis is horrible, no matter how popular presidents are or were, they still took on the impossible task of trying to please billions of people.
