Chicago Cubs star Kris Bryant was hit in the head by a pitch in the first inning of Sunday's game against the Colorado Rockies at Coors Field and was forced to leave immediately. After Bryant exited the game, the Cubs announced that there was a small laceration above his eye from his sunglasses, but as shown no signs of a concussion. Despite all of that news, the Cubs announced that Bryant will continue to be evaluated. Bryant will be needed back in the game if they want to win the World Series.
This connects to history because Baseball has always been considered the "All American Sport" and one of Americas symbols. Many people said that baseball was one of Americas major symbols and something that represents America.

The cubs have such a complicated history with baseball, hope that Bryant can recover smoothly.
ReplyDeleteHead injuries are very serious, so I hope they don't push anything. However, I hope he gets better so they can win.
