These U.S. Cities Have the Most Green Spaces - National Geographichttps://apple.news/AO5kWnZunQYyg8cBU2VWbjQ

From Charleston, South Carolina to San Luis Obispo, California to Olympia, Washington, locations all over the US take pride in their expansive green areas in a country trying to support a growing population and our suffering environment.

In the period 1890-1920, the US made many legislations reflecting the reformative characteristics of the Progressive Era, including the ideals which cultivated the growth of the Conservationist Movement. The president we most associate with it is Theodore Roosevelt and the establishment of National Parks of his administration. With the progression of studies on our impact on our environment and planet, the Conservationist Movement of the early twentieth century continues in our efforts to establish various ways to protect our resources, such as the establishment of “green spaces”, in urban or rural areas.
