Women suing Nissan over carbon-monoxide poisoning

Summary: In Charlotte, North Carolina a mother and her daughter are suing NIssan on the basis of keyless ignition. Luz Bedoya and Lazo said that they suffered from chemical poisoning from their car being left on during the night. They had no idea that the engine was still running. Before she knew it, her house was filled with carbon monoxide. They possibly even could have died, but, luckily, they made it to the hospital on time. As a result, they are suing Nissan in the hopes of "protecting others from keyless ignition."

Analysis: This almost reminds me and relates to the chemical burns people suffered from during the atomic bombs in ww2, and the nuclear weaponry era. It's crazy how history repeats itself even in the littlest ways. I couldn't imagine being in this situation and I hope they achieve their goal. I know Nissan didn't intent for this to happen, but I now have a broader view on the dangers of keyless ignition.
