Three family members out of a family of four that were traveling in an SUV that was found encased in sediment in the Eel River, the Mendocino County Sheriff's Office said. Two adults and two children of the Thottapilly family, who are from Santa Clarita, disappeared early in April while driving in a Honda Pilot through the Redwood Coast Highway on vacation. Their disappearance coincided with reports that a vehicle had sunk into the Eel River in Northern California.
A tow truck removed the vehicle from the river which was encased in a large amount of sediment. The father and daughter's body was found dead inside the vehicle and the mother's body was found in a different area in the river and the older son, who is twelve years old, still remains missing. The family was apparently traveling from Portland, Oregon to their home in Santa Clarita.

That's really suspicious though, how did a vehicle just end up in the river, and where is the 12 year old boy?
